  • My Spice

    You Are Basil

    basil

You are quite popular and loved by post people.
You have a mild temperament, but your style is definitely distinctive.
You are sweet, attractive, and you often smell good.

??? Definately got that wrong :))

  • Todays Excursion

Well last week I was chatting to colleague and he was asking why i didnt go out at lunch time, I pointed out that there was nowhere to go really or nothing really intersting to do in lunch break. He looked quite shocked and said *you come with me i will show parts of the area that are worth seeing* . Having previously discussed that i loved the old buildings and streets in london he has started taking me on toursit guides in lunch breaks lol. The only bad thing is I dont really have time to stop and take some photos but now that i know the areas i will be able to venture out with the camera on my own and hopefully captured some of these sights (well attempt to anyway).

Tuesday was St Pauls cathedral via some lovely tucked away back streets and church gardens, wednesday was spittalfield market, yesterday was the Millenium bridge and today its a trip to angel to see how the area has totally changed over the years :)

Anyway havea great day everyone

  • Sick Policy

Well its not just me that is suffering from stupid managers.

One of my workmates who was hospitalised for 3 weeks has been issued a stage one warninf for attendance !! I mean for god sake to they expect her to get out of her hospital bed and drag herself to work !! Im sick of the managers saying we have to follow the guidelines, which is utter rubbish it is the manager sdecision to issue a warning if he feels that the worker did not make a reasonable attmept to attend work, it is not to be used when someone IS IN BLOODY HOSPITAL FOR 3 WEEKS !! Of course on a stage 1 warning you are not allowed to have the union present and you cannot appeal the decision !! Some managers have no man-managements skills and are scared of making decisions.

  • Update

Thank you everyone for your kind support yesterday :)

Stepdaughters operation was successful with no complications and they hope to discharge her today I know it was a minor operation but I always worry, especially with the NHS the way it is at the moment.

Anyway once again thanks for your support

    Have a great day :)
